Inspired by a sunset near Guishan Island, this work reimagines the island as a turtle travelling alongside a boat toward the sun. It reflects on the quiet pace of life and the lingering feeling left by a fleeting journey.

Lifelong Journey at Turtle’s Pace
The turtle becomes a metaphor for the pace of life — slow, steady, and unhurried. As the boat moves across the water, the island appears to travel with it, suggesting that a journey is not always about reaching a destination, but about noticing the scenery, the passing moments, and the quiet companionship along the way.
The title, 一遊龜近，意猶未盡, plays on the idea of a brief encounter that leaves a lasting impression: even after the journey ends, the feeling of being there remains.
